Jazz luminaries Miguel Zen贸n and Luis Perdomo present sublime interpretations of the Latin American Songbook and of the bolero in particular. Drawing from their celebrated albums, El Arte Del Bolero, Volumes 1 and 2 (the latter earning the pair a Grammy in Protected content , they honor the vastness and diversity of the Latin American Songbook. The evening concludes with a Harlem Stage鈥揷ommissioned work, 鈥淐uba Series,鈥 by trumpeter and composer Kal铆 Rodr铆guez-Pe帽a, performed by The New Cuban Masters. The work reflects on the last 65 years of Cuban history, culture, and society.
